Trusting God in the Height of the Waves

Reflecting back on 2018 as a whole as the year comes to a close is making me realize that life is crazy and messy. Sometimes life even feels out of control. I thought this would be the year that I would get into shape, draw closer to God, have more discipline in all areas of my life. It didn’t turn out that way. There were a lot of ups and downs, my year was by no means a calm and steady year. It was more like a storm, and I often felt like I didn’t have control over my ship… at times it honestly felt like my ship was sinking in the storm.
