This week I would like to lend my platform to my husband, Taylor. Earlier this week we had a pretty lengthy heart to heart reflecting on our marriage and the seasons of life that we’ve endured together. He spoke eloquently and thoughtfully about this topic so I thought it would be insightful for you to hear from him firsthand. Continue reading “Chapters of Marriage”

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am a home decor addict. I have always loved to express myself creatively through the things I put in my living space. When I was a kid I played the Sims just so I could design, style, and decorate a house! I am trying to keep this verse in mind when it comes to decorating my new house. This months’ faith mom’s topic was about decorating your home for God’s glory. Needless to say I came prepared to take lots of notes! Continue reading “Decorating Your Home for God’s Glory”

It is important for everyone to have hobbies, no matter how old you are or what the hobby is. Hobbies are one of many ways to express yourself and grow in creativity. Some of my hobbies include tennis, drawing, home decor, dancing, playing piano, and I recently added ice skating to my repertoire!
Once a month our church hosts a mom’s group that discusses issues and topics related to motherhood, being a wife, or just being a woman in general. This month was my first time attending the mom’s group, which is called “Faith Moms”. I didn’t know what to expect, but I got tea, small biscuits, free childcare, and a warm group of other moms!
